Volunteer Drivers are needed!

Click here to download the Skokie volunteer application.

Contribute to the community by volunteering your time through the Human Services Division to deliver or drive for the Home Delivered Meals Program. Your efforts will help make Skokie a wonderful, caring place to live.  Mileage reimbursement is available to those who request it.

Skokie’s Home Delivered Meals Program is always in need of volunteer drivers to deliver meals to the homebound. If you have an hour or so a week to spare during the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., please call Juanita Davis at 847/933-8208. Help your community and homebound residents by donating a little of your time for a very worthy cause.

If you would like to contribute to the community by volunteering for these activities please contact the Human Services Division at 847/933-8208.

Home Delivered Meals Program Volunteers Needed

The Skokie Home Delivered Meals Program provides a nutritionally balanced meal five days a week to some of Skokie's most vulnerable residents.  The success of this program relies on the generosity of community volunteers to sort and deliver food to participant homes.  Meals are delivered between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Choose your day or days to help Skokie residents maintain independence while relieving food insecurity.  If you are interested in volunteering, please call Lucy Rukavina in the Human Services Division at 847/933-8208.
